Life is hard. And you do not have to make it harder, by being hard on yourself. I know, sometimes kindness to self seems like a difficult task. And you're mad at yourself for a million reasons. For not winning the game, for not saying the right words, for not standing up for yourself, for being too short-tempered... It's easier to get mad than to show yourself some love.  I got new slippers. I noticed that I clean it very often. My slippers are so pretty I don't let anyone mess with them. Yes, I clean all my footwear, but I give special attention to these navy blue slippers because I love them.  I give similar care to my phone, my black backpack which I carry almost always.
