Humanity

The word of science that claimed man as HIGHER ANIMALS is an idiom which meaning conspires. Literally all Abrahamic religions noted in their scriptures that “animals were created and man was made the leader amongst them." These phrases all in my head got me restless and passionate to untie the knot of these words. If 10 human are seated in ten different rooms to speak about the experience humanity has caused them, a book of 10 chapters with absolutely different tragedy contents will be made out their words. Frankly, I have lived for few decades and I have had a taste of life and the raft of humanity. I studied and have deduced that humans can be of different variety. Taiwo Akinsola, a radio presenter at faaji FM, said  he has related with different kind of people around the world and he could group human into 5 platoons.  First, the crabologies. Crabology is not a word in the dictionary but this refers to the set of people who never want you to progress whereas, they are not w...

They are the ones you tag best customers because they are  believed and expected to make your business grow. Unfortunately, these are people who will sometimes want you to sell to them on cr...

The Power Of Touch

By Zaynerb I was on my phone reading a post. Now I've been listening to her talking about how hurt she is and how much pain she's been through. As she poured her heart out, I made sure to put my phone away to listen to her speak. I did this to make her comfortable and to assure her she had my attention. And as she spoke, I didn't speak, I only listened. Soon she stopped talking. And I said; "may Allah ease our task".  I thought it was all over and maybe she still doesn't entirely feel good, but she certainly feels better. After all I gave her attention. As she lay down to rest I went back to my phone. It was really quiet and I was unsuspecting. Unconsciously, I looked at her and I didn't notice it at first. She was staring at the ceiling and I kept looking at her. That was when I noticed the tear that rolled down her eyes. I knew that tear very well. Tear that comes silently but bears the heavy weight of immense pain and sadness of the heart. It was te...

Friendship; Gold, Silver or None

Written by: Olawoye Sunday Mayowa In a recent interview with Pastor Poju Oyemade of the Covenant Christian center, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, of the Redeemed Christian Church of God said "make new friends, and keep the old,  one is silver while the other is gold". This statement has further awaken thoughts about friendship and relationship in our age. Our generation is littered with people with little or no friends, some keep a limited friend cycle while others have situational friends. The raging questions in people's hearts are: Why should I have friends at all?  Why should I keep an old friend?  If you ask the question "why should I have friends at all?" This is your answer;  It's a common saying that "if you want to achieve faster, go alone, if you want to achieve faster and go farther, go with a friend."  Friendship is synonymous to having company, while Companionship means having people around to do things in common, think, help an...
